Steven Klenk

I grew up an only child in a theatre-appreciating family in the South Suburbs of Chicago. They took me to my first show, Phantom of the Opera, at 8 years old, and I vividly remember thinking "I wanna do that".

After putting on no budget plays in my friends' basement, my mom pushed me into acting classes and I eventually performed in my first summer camp musical... CATS. That was a sight to see, let me tell ya.

 

I've been telling stories on stages ever since, not only through performing but also directing and scenic designing - which combines my love of art and theatre in the best way! 

 

When not in the theatre, I love acting a fool with friends, exploring, drawing, and occasionally sipping on a nice amaretto sour with a splash of pineapple juice ;)

Now based in NYC, I am so excited to see where this journey takes me!
