Steven Klenk

I grew up an only child in the South Suburbs of Chicago. My momma took me to see the touring production of The Phantom of the Opera, and at 8 years old, and I vividly remember thinking "I wanna do that".

After forcing my friends to put on no budget plays for our parents (we used the dimming lights and everything - it was better for the theatrical experience), my mom pushed me into acting classes and I eventually performed in my first summer camp musical... CATS. That was a sight to see, let me tell ya. BUT! That lit the flame, and I've been hooked ever since. 

 

When not in the theatre, I love acting a fool with friends, exploring, drawing, and occasionally sipping on a cute and casual rum and coke.

Now running amok in NYC, dodging tourists and letting out a deep, audible exhale when they don't let me off the train car before they try to get on :) Very happy to be here, regardless.
